A new client made an unusual request for a set of oil paintings.

His idea was quite specific. He wanted landscape paintings of the environment near his holiday home in Harz, Germany. The unusual part is he wanted his favourite cartoon characters added to the landscape to tell a story, meaningful to him.

After a bit of chatting, translation, idea spitballing and some time, this is what I created for him.

He was very happy with them and has subsequently ordered 5 more paintings which is a very exciting turn of events.

I’ll post some details from the new commission when I start it.
